Last night while attending the 85th anniversary of the Attleboro Arts Museum I felt a tug on my ponytail. I turned around and someone said, "Sorry, I thought you were someone else." I asked who he thought I was and he replied, "Rusty D'Arconte." I explained to him that Rusty is my boss and then we introduced ourselves.

Today my kids and I, along with a friend of theirs and his mom, went for a bike ride on the
Blackstone River Bikeway. Our beginning point was at the old Lonsdale Drive-in in Lincoln, RI right on Route 123.
We wanted to ride all the way to Woonsocket and back. We tried once before and had to turn back because we started to late (I had to go to work). Today's ride came to a halt when my son's tire blew out.

I will be posting some newspaper pages here from time to time in order to show not only the finished page or graphic but also some notes about them. These notes could be the thought process or how a collaboration with an editor worked. I may even scan in some thumbnail sketches of the page.
Here's a little background.
I am the Assistant Managing Editor for Visuals. Basically I am in charge of the look the paper. I also produce locator maps, graphics and illustrations.
